Geraldine 'Jerry' Kelley

September 22, 1926 — October 19, 2012

Geraldine "Jerry" Kelley of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of John and Cora (Roderick) Stewart on September 22, 1926 in Springfield, Missouri and left from this life on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Cuba Manor at the age of 86. Jerry retired after 30 plus years of dedicated service from the Handicapped Organization in Wellston, Missouri as a Key Punch Secretary. She was a member of the Solid Rock Christian Church in St. James. She enjoyed church, playing bingo, card and board games, quilting, sewing, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jerry is preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter Kelley; one son Ronnie Kelley; three sisters Jewell Spray, Edna Akers and Marie Walsworth; one brother Bert Stewart; one great-grandchild. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her daughter Linda and husband Don Trolinger of Cuba, Missouri; son Michael Kelley of Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren Leesa, Joshua, Shawn, Cailene and Michelle; seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, staff and residents of Cuba Manor and many friends. As per Jerry's request there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 3:00 p.m. at Reed Cemetery in Halfway, Missouri with Pastor Jim Sutherlin, officiating. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to Cuba Manor Activity Fund or the D.A.V. The Mizell Funeral Home is Honored to be serving the Kelley family.
