Georgia Faye Wymer

Georgia Faye Wymer (nee Mullen) of Steelville, MO, passed away May 28, 2026, at the age of 83 years old surrounded by her family.

Georgia was born July 23, 1942, in St. Louis, MO to Lawrence and Imogene Wallis Mullen. She graduated from Steelville High School, class of 1960.

On October 14, 1960, she was united in marriage to Dean Wymer. To this union, their only son, Dean Wymer Jr., was born.

The family lived in the Wildwood area until they retired in 2000 and moved back to the Mullen family farm where she grew up.

Georgia and Dean loved to square dance in the early years, travel out West in their motorhome, spend time with family and friends at Bull Shoals Lake, and spent the winter months in Quartzite, Arizona, for 26 years.

Some of Georgia’s favorite pastimes included riding motorcycles with Dean, water skiing, and snow skiing. She was the perfect homemaker and an excellent cook.

She is survived by her husband Dean Wymer, son Dean Wymer Jr. and wife Dawn, grandsons Trey Wymer and Chad Wymer, sisters Mary Haberstock and husband Gene, Margaret Hinch, sister-in-law Diane Morhaus, nieces and nephews, and lots of friends.

The family has chosen cremation and will have a Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church of Leasburg, MO with Pastor Jerry Beers, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the First Southern Baptist Church of Leasburg, MO, 1861 Hwy H, Leasburg, MO 65535.
