Georgia G. Farris

August 21, 1918 — March 4, 2013

Georgia G. Farris of Sullivan formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of John C. and Lula May (Bayless) Enloe on August 21, 1918 in Cuba, Missouri and left from this life at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the age of 94. Georgia over the years worked at the Small Arms Company in St. Louis, Paramount Apparel in Bourbon and as the Bookkeeper for her husband Bill's, Shell Oil business. She was a member of the Cuba Free Will Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed playing golf, gardening, crafts, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Georgia is preceded in death by her parents; husband William T. Farris; one son Robert Farris; one daughter Marilyn "Susie" Farris; two brothers James and Herb Enloe; four sisters Ruth Bell, Delorice Willig, Ann Dobkins and Edna. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two sons James and wife Rickie Farris of Eureka, Missouri, Billy Joe and wife Rhonda Farris of Sullivan, Missouri; daughter-in-law Dinah Farris of Cuba, Missouri; brother-in-law Frank Farris of St. Louis, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Fields, officiating. Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Farris family.
