Gary Eugene Wenzel

Gary Eugene Wenzel of St. Clair formerly of Bourbon was born Sunday, March 17, 1963 at Sullivan, Missouri to the union of Ernest and Thelma (Nee: Miller) Wenzel and left from this life on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Bourbon, Missouri at the age of 50 years. Gary worked construction as a dry wall installer. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on cars, weight lifting and MMA Boxing. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends. Gary was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Gary is preceded in death by his father Ernest Wenzel, one brother Bobby Wenzel and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his loving children Annie and husband Abram Alley of St. Clair, Eric Wenzel of St. Clair, Breanna Wenzel of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Patrick Wenzel of Norton, Ohio and Andrew McCall of St. Clair, grandchild Adria Alley of St. Clair and one on the way, mother Thelma Wenzel of Bourbon, three brothers Kenny Wenzel of Bourbon, Jimmy and wife Ann Wenzel of Leasburg and Ron Wenzel of Bourbon, three sisters Karen Wenzel of Bourbon, Shirley Peterson of Bourbon and Sue Wenzel of Bourbon, one uncle Ken Wenzel of Leasburg, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 till 7:00 PM Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM at the Lick Creek Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Please meet directly at the cemetery. Honored to be serving as pall bearers will be Ronnie Wenzel, Jim Wenzel, Shawn Wenzel, Patrick Wenzel, Kenny Wenzel and Ray Copling. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Wenzel family.
