Flossie E. Mash

August 1, 1937 — March 24, 2014

Flossie E. Mash of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Virgil and Hannah (Hodges) Chadd on August 1, 1937 in Kewanee, Missouri and left from this life on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 76. Flossie retired after working many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Rolla Family Medical Clinic. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bourbon. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and was an avid Tom Selleck fan. Flossie is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers Virgil, Donald, Bill and John Chadd; two sisters Betty Dickens and Bonnie Brasher. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her three sons Arthur and wife Emilia Junkerman, III of St. James, Missouri, Mark Mash of Knoxville, Tennessee, William and wife Donna Mash of Independence, Missouri; seven grandchildren Michelle, Tiffany, Nica, A.J., Jackie, Megan and Kyle; six great-grandchildren Victoria, David, Rachel, Nate, Aliah and Abigail; one brother Charles "Short" Chadd of Valley Park, Missouri; one sister Margaret Helton of Meta, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 6:00 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 750 S. Old Hwy. 66, Bourbon, Missouri 65401. As per her wishes, Flossie will be cremated. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Mash family.
