Florence B. Bedwell

Florence B. Bedwell of St. Louis and formerly of Steelville, Missouri was born on December 26, 1940 in Steelville, Missouri to the union of Thomas and Geneva (Atchison) Nichols. She left from this life on Monday, May 31, 2021 at St. Clair Nursing Center in St. Clair, Missouri at the age of 80 years.

Florence retired after working several years for R & F Pasta Factory in St. Louis. She enjoyed gardening, collecting Precious Moments, decorating and shopping on QVC. She loved all the special times she shared with her daughter and other family members.

Florence is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Geneva (Atchison) Nichols; four sisters Mary Lou Collins, Wilma Carroll, Ann Bentley and Beulah Mae "Boots" Vann; one brother Rainey Nichols; one niece Tammy Dickens; three nephews James McMillian, Jamie Carroll and Brian Carroll.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving daughter Sheryl Bedwell and husband Dana Jones of St. Louis; one sister Donna and husband Leon Dickens of Cuba; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

In keeping with her wishes, Florence will be cremated.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Don Martin, officiating.

Inurnment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
