Farrell H. Breedlove

Farrell H. Breedlove of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, September 23, 1929 at Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Fred and Stella (Nee: Ellifrits) Breedlove and left from this life on Friday, July 5, 2013 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 83 years. Farrell was an over the road truck driver for several years before becoming a firefighter for the Mehlville Fire Protection District, Mehlville, Missouri. He retired as a firefighter after nearly 30 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Cuba United Methodist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed wood working, recording old movies and old records, but what he always enjoyed the most was spending time with family and friends. Farrell was a loving son, husband, father, step father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and friend of many. Farrell is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Stella Breedlove, his first wife Norma Breedlove, two sons Richard and Terry Lee Breedlove, ten brothers and sisters Standlee Nimmo, Irene Oliphant, Frances Wright, Fred Breedlove, Mildred Ellifrits, Russell, Garry, Larry, Glenn and Lanny Breedlove, one step son and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his loving wife Irma Breedlove of the home, one daughter Cheryl Brickner of St. Louis, Missouri, three step children, sister Flossie Meyer of Warsaw, Missouri, nineteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, July 8, 2013 from 5 till 8 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Frana officiating. Special music will be "Amazing Grace", "What A Day That Will Be" and "I'll Fly Away". Interment and prayers will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Farrell's memory. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Farrell's family.
