Everett O. Uhl, Jr., of Cuba, Missouri, was born on July 4, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Everett O. and Nellie A. (Massie) Uhl, Sr. He unexpectedly departed this life on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the age of 67.

On July 5, 1980, Everett joined in marriage to Kelly Fey in St. Louis, Missouri, creating a loving home that welcomed two wonderful children, Michael and Shannon.

For several years, Everett dedicated himself to his work as an Assembler at General Motors Company. He had a deep passion for working on cars and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as watching his favorite show, Pawn Stars, and savoring Smarties candy. Above all, he treasured the moments spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

Everett is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Everett O. Uhl, Sr. and Nellie Ann (Massie) Uhl; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Fey; and his brother-in-law, Joe Fey.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Kelly Uhl; his two children, Shannon Caron, and her fiancé Chad Black, and Michael Uhl, all of Cuba; and his four adored grandchildren: Weston Uhl, Cameron Caron, Courtney Caron, and Aubrey Black. Everett is also survived by three sisters: Teresa (Jeff) Gerecke of Perryville, Carol (Bob) Brenner of O'Fallon, IL, Brenda (Don) Bahr of DeSoto; a brother-in-law, Mike (Tammie) Fey of Cuba; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and numerous friends.

In honoring his wishes, Everett will be cremated. A memorial gathering will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Don Bahr.
