Donnie W. "Huckleberry" Lee

Donnie W. “Huckleberry” Lee of Cuba, Missouri was born on August 27, 1949, in Alco, Arkansas to the union of Lonnie and Winnie M. (Marriott) Lee. He left from this life on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at his home at the age of 73.

Donnie honorably served his country in the United States Army. He had been disabled for several years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, aerospace, aeronautics and was best known for his tinkering.

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Winnie (Marriott) Lee; two brothers Danny Lee and Jerry Lee; one sister Rhonda Pitts.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his four children Sarah Lee-Gross of Battle Creek, Michigan, Heather Lee of Ft. Worth, Texas, Aaron Lee of St. Clair, Missouri, Andy Lee of Union, Missouri; nine siblings Eddie Lee of Cuba, Roger Lee of Valle Mines, Connie Pittaluga of Bridgeton, Randy Lee of Cuba, Judy Schaffer of St. Clair, Keith Lee of Cuba, Kenny Lee of Potosi, Tim Lee of Bourbon, Rita Ritter of Springfield; fur baby Sparky; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In keeping with his request, Donnie will be cremated. There will be a celebration of life service in the spring of 2023.
