Donald Wayne Vaughn, 71, of Washington, previously of Cuba, passed away, Monday, June 15, 2026, at Bristol Manor in Washington.
On September 26, 1954, Donald was born to the union of Earl Vaughn & Ruth Graham in Rolla, Missouri.
Donald was united in marriage to Rhonda Faye Boulch on June 28, 1975, in Steelville, Missouri.
Donald served as the pastor for the Assembly of God Church in Leasburg for many years. Some of the fondest memories of his time as pastor was when he rode around on a tricycle to help raise funds for mission trips and the time he preached the word of God from the literal rooftop of the church. Rhonda & Donald's dedication to the church was unwavering and a true testament to their belief and strength of their faith.
He enjoyed spending time outside with a cold glass of sweet tea, going for car rides as well as spreading the gospel at local nursing homes. Donald also loved playing games and socializing with his friends at Bristol Manor. In their younger years, Rhonda & Donald cherished their many trips to Branson. Most of all, Donald loved creating memorable moments with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Ruth Vaughn; his wife, Rhonda (Boulch) Vaughn and his son-in-law, Lou Gloriod.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, RaDawn Gloriod of Union; honorary son, Dennis (Christy) Nevills of Union; two brothers, Glenn Vaughn of Seattle, WA & Dennis Vaughn of Largo, FL; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory. Graveside service and interment will take place at Meramec Hills Memorial Lawn in Cuba.
