Deloris W. Licklider

Deloris W. Licklider of Hazelwood, Missouri was born to the union of Cornell and Willie (Hicks) Licklider on July 1, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life at her home on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the age of 65. Deloris retired after many years of service as an Administrative Associate for the Dept. of Mathematics & Computer Science at the University of Missouri St. Louis. She enjoyed traveling, reading, ceramics and volunteering at different community events. Deloris is preceded in death by her parents Cornell and Willie (Hicks) Licklider. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her brother Phillip and wife Judith Licklider of Cuba, Missouri; two nephews Robert C. and wife Nicole Licklider of Loves Park, Illinois, Jonathan P. and wife Jessica Licklider of Cosby, Missouri; one niece Phyllis and husband David Tague of Front Royal, Virginia; one aunt Grace Rook of St. Louis, Missouri; three great-nieces, four great-nephews, one great-great niece, cousins and friends. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 2:00 p.m. at Licklider Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri with Rev. Norman Cartwright, officiating. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the Licklider Cemetery Association. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Licklider family.
