Della May Cook of Cuba, Missouri was born Sunday, March 13, 1949 at Bourbon, Missouri to the union of James M. and Hazel Gladine (Nee: Osborne) Eoff. She went home, to be with The Lord, on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at her home in Cuba, at the age of 69 years. Della spent her life taking care of residents at the nursing home and for the last several years of her career, working for home health care as a CNA. Della loved taking care of her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She spent hours working with her flowers and bird watching. She treasured walks in the rain and going for evening rides to see deer. In her younger years she enjoyed going to the car races. What she truly loved most in life was The Lord and spending time with family. Della was a loving wife, sister, mom, grandma, nanny, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Hazel Eoff, husband Bill Cook, five brothers; Al, Lloyd, Robert, James and Jimmy Eoff, one sister; Gladine Land, one great grandson Chandler Werley and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving children; Donna Rae and husband Arnold Payne of Kokomo, Indiana, Robert Branson of Cuba, Allan and wife Ettie Branson of Cuba and Troy Richardson, Jr. of Cuba, six grandchildren; Brittani and husband Drew Sanford, Candice Richardson, TJ and wife Aby Richardson, Brandon Ross, Cody Branson and Ryan Branson, two great grandchildren; Beckett Sanford and Kinsley Richardson, one brother; Leroy and wife Helen Eoff of Bourbon, three sisters Dorothy and husband John Veach of Cuba, Ruth and husband Ron Roach of Sullivan and Bonnie Bockover of Cuba, two brothers-in-law; Mitchell and wife Sheila Terry of Vienna and Gary and wife Mary Jo Cook of Salem, Missouri, one sister-in-law Mary Ellen Snethern of West Plains, Missouri, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, August 6, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Mizell Funeral Home with Brother Larry Bridgeman officiating. Special recorded music will be "The Old Rugged Cross", "Peace in The Valley" and "Amazing Grace". Honored to be serving as pall bearers are Robert Branson, Allan Branson, Troy Richardson, TJ Richardson, Cody Branson and Ryan Branson. Honorary pall bearers are Brittani Sanford and Candice Richardson. Interment and prayers will follow at the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be Della's family.
