Debra A. Keogh-watt

Debra A. “Debbie” Keogh-Watt of Cuba, Missouri was born on Monday, December 14, 1953 in Rolla, Missouri to the union of Melvin J. and Barbara J. (Dunton) Kamler. She left from this life in peace, knowing Jesus was her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Silverstone Place in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 67 years.

Debbie worked several years at Fleming Manufacturing Company. She was a longtime member and dedicated pianist at the First Baptist Church of Cuba. She loved to play the piano and cook. She always put others before herself, as long as everyone else was happy, she was happy. Her greatest accomplishment was a being a devoted mother and grandma. She could always be found at any of her grandsons sporting events and she was looking forward to finally having a granddaughter to watch.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Melvin J. and Barbara J. “Bobbie” (Dunton) Kamler; husband Gary Lee Watt.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two children Mackenzie and husband Jason “Blieu” Pfeiffer, Stephen and wife Jessica Keogh all of Cuba; one step-daughter Ashley Fletcher of St. Charles; eight grandchildren Mason, Dylan, Paxton, Max, Ryan, Addison, Lyra and Hendrix; two brothers Steve Kamler of Springfield, Mat Kamler of Rolla; one sister Cristy and husband Edward Kruse of Cuba; step-mother Noma Kamler of Cuba; one step-sister Diana and husband Mike Eskra of Cuba; one step-brother and Jay and wife Marti Conway of Marthasville; aunt Frances and husband Hugh McNary of Union; former husband and friend Harold “Sonny” Keogh of Cuba; cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Cuba 606 W. Myrtle St. with Pastor Jim Moore, officiating.

Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

If desired, memorials would be appreciated to Cuba Wildcat Football.
