David E. "Dave" Schroyer

David E. “Dave” Schroyer of Cuba, Missouri was born on October 2, 1943, in Parma, Missouri to the union of Elbert and Ellen (French) Schroyer. He left this life on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Cedar Pointe Nursing Home in Rolla at the age of 79.

Dave was united in marriage to Edith Skyles on March 19, 1989, in Cuba, Missouri.

Dave owned and operated Dave Schroyer Signs for several years. He was a well-known sign painter, and his work can be found throughout the area. He was a member of Covenant Praise Church of God.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents Elbert and Ellen (French) Schroyer; three brothers Randall, Robert and Dennis Schroyer.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife Edith Schroyer of Cuba; three children Charles and wife Cathy Schroyer of Cuba, Mark Schroyer of Cuba, Karen and husband Jason Roach of Sullivan; six grandchildren Ethan, Olivia, Garrett and Zach Schroyer, Conner and Kennedi Roach; nine brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Anna Skyles of St. James, Richard Skyles of St. Louis, Harry and wife Betty Skyles of Little Rock, Arkansas, Sharon and husband Louis Jones of Longview, Texas, Charles and wife Connie Skyles of Rockwall, Texas, Carla and husband Charles Scantlin of Cuba, Dora Skyles of St. James, Mary Skyles of Salem and Dorothy Skyles of St. James; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Covenant Praise Church of God 309 N. Mapleshade Rd. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Covenant Praise Church of God with Pastor Jeremiah Wilson, officiating.

Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
