David Combs

David Combs of Cuba, Missouri was born Friday, December 27, 1946 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Wiley James and Anna Jane (Nee: Riggs) Combs. He left from this life on Tuesday night, December 11, 2018, surrounded by his family, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis at the age of 71 years. David worked most of his adult life as a roofer specializing in residential roofs. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors. He spent hours barbequing and smoking all types of meat. When he wasn't outside, David would watch hours of wrestling on TV. What he truly loved most in life was spending time with his family and friends. David was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, father, grandfather, father-in-law, uncle, great uncle and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents Wiley and Anna Combs, brother George Combs, sister Betty Jane Sampson and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving children; Cindy Robertson of St. Clair, Missouri and Serenity and husband Shawn Lietar of Leasburg, six grandchildren; Abigale, Aden, Madison, Zara, Ceiana and Chance, girlfriend Betty "Sue" Robben of Cuba, three brothers; Jim Combs of Cathedral City, California, Randy Combs of Liberty, Missouri, Warren and wife Donna Combs of Cuba, three sisters Patsy and husband Jim Camden of O'Fallon, Missouri, Wanda Combs of California and Anna Mae and husband Bob Wilhelm of Utah, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. In keeping with David's wishes he will be cremated, and a private family service will be held at a later date. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving David's family.
