Danny Lee Shockley

Danny Lee Shockley of Cuba, Missouri was born on Sunday, March 17, 1957, in Sunnyvale, California to the union of Stanley E. and Shirley A. (Chew) Shockley. He left from this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville at the age of 65.

Danny was united in marriage to Mary L. Spurgeon on August 26, 1989 in Dallas, Texas. To this union three children were born Brian Lee, Cherly Lynn and Steven Wayne.

Danny worked mostly in factories during his working years. He enjoyed listening to classic country music, fishing, rock hunting, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Danny is preceded in death by his mother Shirley A. (Chew) Shockley.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife Mary L. Shockley of Cuba; three children Brian Lee Shockley of Cuba, Cherly Lynn Shockley of Rosebud and Steven Wayne Shockley of Cuba; four grandchildren Emily Whitley of Texas, Mason Lee Shockley of Rosebud, Alden Negretti of Rosebud and Damian Lee Shockley of Cuba; father Stanley E. Shockley of Owensville; sisters and brothers Penny Miller of Oakwood, Texas, Rebecca Renfro of Texas, Kenneth Shockley of Belle and Stanley Ray Shockley; cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Holman officiating.

In keeping with his wishes, Danny will be cremated following the visitation and funeral service,
