Daniel D. Turner, Sr.

October 30, 1941 — November 25, 2021

Daniel D. Turner, Sr. of Cuba, Missouri was born on October 30, 1941 at Covington, Kentucky. He left from this life on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at the age of 80 years.

Daniel was united in marriage to Sharon Quann in 1965 at Kentucky and they are the proud parents of Jeffrey, Scott, Dana and Daniel D., Jr.

Daniel was a retired Iron Worker. He spent many years traveling, building bridges and other steel works. After retirement, he and Sharon moved to Indian Hills. He enjoyed working in the yard, fishing, cooking and spending time with his family.

He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, brother-in-law and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Margaret Turner; wife Sharon (Quann) Turner; three sisters Mary Freimuth, Wanda Turner, and infant Sylvia Turner; one brother Buddy Turner; two sisters-in-law Kathleen Bick and Sherry Lincoln; one brother-in-law Ray Quann and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his four children Jeffrey Turner and companion Carrie Coleman of Washington, Missouri, Scott and wife Elizabeth Turner of Crestwood, Missouri, Dana Stout of Cuba and Daniel D. Turner, Jr. of Cuba; fifteen grandchildren Melissa, Anthony, Sarah, Danielle, Olivia, Christian, Nicholas, Kristen, Nick, Noah, Haley, Tyler, Kelsey, Keirsten and Dylan; fourteen great grandchildren; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, Daniel was cremated. Private inurnment will be held at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
