Claud Dewight Pyatt of Cuba, Missouri was born on Saturday, October 17, 1936 in Cherryville, Missouri to the union of Otto and Martha (Harris) Pyatt. He left from this life on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Steelville Senior Living Center at the age of 84 years.
Claud was united in marriage to Mary Eaton on October 2, 1960 in Cherryville, Missouri. To this union two daughters were born Donna and Debbie.
Claud worked at McGinnis Wood Products for several years and he would later work at Maces Supermarket. He enjoyed playing his harmonica, building bird houses, walking and squirrel hunting. He could always be found with a friendly smile on his face and he loved being Grandpa to three beautiful young ladies.
Claud is preceded in death by his parents Otto and Martha (Harris) Pyatt; two brothers Ken and Troy Pyatt; one sister Mary Imogene McBenge; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Paul Myers, Joe Stubblefield, Johnny and wife Shirley Eaton, Bertha Taber and Angela Eaton.
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife of sixty years Mary Pyatt of the home; two daughters Donna and husband Warren Graddy, Debbie Godbey both of Cuba, Missouri; three granddaughters Taylor Albert and fiancé Josh Moskowitz of Pacific, Missouri, Alex Graddy of Cuba, Missouri, Kayla and husband Derek Meyer of New Haven, Missouri; two great-grandchildren Remi and Lander; two brothers Leo Pyatt of Sullivan, Missouri, Garland and wife Linda Pyatt of St. James, Missouri; two sisters Marie Cooper of Alton, Illinois, Erma Anderson of Chandler, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Helen Pyatt of Sullivan, Missouri, Maxine Myers of Cuba, Missouri, Peggy and husband Junior Callahan of Steelville, Missouri, Glenda Stubblefield, Lloyd and wife Carol Eaton, Gerald and wife Susie Eaton, David Eaton all of Cuba, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
