Clarence S. “Peewee” Ray, Jr. of Rolla, Missouri was born on September 14, 1973 in Rolla, Missouri to the union of Clarence S. and Gladys (Mash) Ray. He left from this life surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at St. Louis University Hospital at the age of 49.

Peewee was united in marriage to Sandy Ravenscraft on June 9, 2012, in Cuba, Missouri.

Peewee was a Bricklayer for Clark Glaser Masonry in Bland for several years. He loved his dog Sam and enjoyed building and running his Derby cars, hunting, fishing, vacations in Florida, cooking, camping, the river, and spending time with his family and friends.

Peewee is preceded in death by his parents Clarence S. and Gladys (Mash) Ray; one brother Henry Faulkner; one sister Brenda Sue Sivert.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Sandy (Ravenscraft) Ray; three children Josie Crouch, Malachi Ray (Riley Sullivan) and Hannah Ray all of Rolla; brothers and sisters Tom Mash of Salem, Susie Howard of Cuba, Ronnie Faulkner of St. James, Venita (Robert) Robinson of Rolla, Kenny (B’Liz) Faulkner of Cuba, Marion “Winker” (Tiffany Beard) Ray of St. James, Bobby (Rita) Ray of Steelville, Randy Ray of Steelville, Caroline (Butch) Tomnitz of Rolla; parents-in-law Bob and Stella Ravenscraft of Rolla; two sisters-in-law Suze (Brett) Krone of Clinton, Minnesota, Sally Dake (Keith Brinkley) of Duke; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

The Funeral Service will be held immediately following at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dan Phillips, officiating.

Immediately following the funeral the family will be having a celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sandy Ray to honor Peewee’s life. Donations will go as a scholarship to graduating high school students going into Masonry.

In keeping with his wishes, Peewee will be cremated following the funeral service.
