Clarence M. Jones

Clarence M. Jones of Cuba, Missouri was born Wednesday, November 23, 1921 at Van Buren, Missouri to the union of Otto and Myrem (nee: Sheahan) Jones and left from this life Friday, November 16, 2012 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 90 years 11 months and 23 days. Clarence had been a truck driver for many years and worked as a maintenance man in Pensacola, Florida for 15 years before retiring to the Cuba area. Clarence was a loving son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, infant son Clarence M. Jones, four brothers, four sisters and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his son Milford Jones of Fenton, adopted son Charles W. Drakesmith of Farmington, Missouri, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends. In keeping with Clarence's wishes his body was donated to the Washington University School of Medicine. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Jones family.
