Chris L. White of Cuba, Missouri was born December 21, 1952 at Cuba, Missouri to the union of David and Violet J. (nee: Chapman) Thomas and left from this life on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital, Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 63 years. Chris was united in marriage to Robert White on December 30, 1978 in Steelville, Missouri. She was the proud mom of Jerrrid and Lindsay. Chris worked at many businesses throughout her career. She worked for Rudy's Package, Coverdell Glass, Sample Trucking, Owensville Mutual as an underwriter and from 2003 till current she has worked for Flying A Motorsports as the office manager. Chris spent many days on the river, going boating and camping. She played softball and bowled for years and when her children were young she coached their teams. From the age of eight Chris has watched the "Days of our Lives" nearly every day. She also watched the "Voice" and "NCIS". Every year they traveled to Sedalia for the Missouri State Fair. She loved to watch the shows and always tried to pick the winners of each class. One of her favorite past times was going to Iowa for steer shopping. Her greatest love in life was her family and spending time with them. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin, step-daughter, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Chris is preceded in death by her father David Thomas, mother Violet Thomas-Farris, brothers-in-law Luke House, Vernon White, Timmy White and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband of nearly thirty eight years Robert White of the home, son Jerrid and wife Heather Thomas of Cuba, daughter Lindsay and husband Sam Ruble of Bowling Green, Missouri, four perfect grandchildren Austin Thomas, Cason Thomas, Steele Ruble and Sloane Ruble, sister Kathy House of Cuba, brother James and wife Barb Thomas of Robertsville, Missouri, half-sister Karen Henry of St. Charles, half -brothers Jeff and wife Marie Thomas of Villa Ridge, Missouri, Richard Thomas of Ballwin, Missouri and Craig Thomas of Orlando, Florida, step mother Pat Thomas of Ballwin, Missouri, brothers-in-law Fred and wife Barb White of Cuba, Paul and wife Lisa White of St. Louis, Bill White of Steelville and Jr and wife Josie Burris of Cherryville, sister-in-law Donna Metcalf of Steelville, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, October 10, 2016 from 5:00 till 8:00 pm at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba with Pastor Jeff Snell officiating. Interment and prayers will follow at the Delhi Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Fair Livestock in Chris's memory. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Chris's family.
