Charlotte J. Livesay

August 25, 1949 — October 25, 2019

Charlotte J. Livesay of Leasburg, Missouri was born Thursday, August 25, 1949 at Cherryville, Missouri to the union of Arlis and Mable (Nee: Brown) Callahan. She went home to be with The Lord on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Hospital, Sullivan at the age of 70 years.

Charlotte was united in marriage to Jerry Livesay and they were the proud parents of Kevin, Kenny, Tina and Mia.

Charlotte spent her life taking care of her family. She was famous for her chicken and dumplings and peach cobbler. When the kids were all home, Charlotte spent her summers raising a garden and canning everything. She spent hours crocheting afghans and sewing what her family would need.

Going to church was very important to Charlotte and the last several years she had been a member of Coffee Community Church, Keysville. In her younger years she would sing and play the guitar for her family and church family.

She treasured the times that the family would all come to her home. She enjoyed when they were all sitting at the table having dinner, visiting, playing UNO or any card game. She watched the game show network and the western channel later in life, just to have something to do. What was always most important to her was spending time with her family and friends.

Charlotte was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Arlis and Mable Callahan; husband Jerry Livesay; daughter Mia Livesay-Hancock; grandson Curtis D. Callahan, Jr.; great grandson Logan Callahan; one brother Robert Callahan; brothers and sisters-in-law Bob and wife Evelyn Livesay and Jackie "Toot" and husband Harold "Smitty" Smith and other family and friends.
