Charles E. "Chuck" Gandy

April 29, 1952 — August 23, 2022

Charles E. “Chuck” Gandy of Sullivan, Missouri was born on April 29, 1952, in St. Louis to the union of Marion and Ann (Swidde) Gandy. He left from this life on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at his home at the age of 70.

Chuck was united in marriage to Melissa Adair on August 16, 2002, in Cuba, Missouri.

Chuck owned and operated Chuck’s Carpet in Cuba for several years. Prior to becoming disabled, he worked for Cracker Barrel in Branson. He enjoyed being on his computer, collecting coins and lots of other things. What he truly loved most was spending time with his wife.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Ann (Swidde) Gandy.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife of twenty years Melissa Gandy of Sullivan; four children Chasity and husband Todd Rhoads of Edwardsville, Illinois, Erika Skyles of Clanton, Alabama, Corey Skyles of Clanton, Alabama, Vanessa Bell of Sullivan; parents-in-law Gene and Shirley Adair of Sullivan; one brother-in-law Warren and wife Darla Adair of Cuba; one sister-in-law Samantha and husband Larry Butler of Cuba; one niece Kimberly Adair of Cuba; one nephew Deacon Butler of Belle; special aunt Dixie Beckett of Bourbon; two longtime friends Andy Sanazaro, Jr. and Larry Lumley both of Cuba; nine grandchildren and many friends.

In keeping with his wishes, Chuck will be cremated. A private family service will be held at Fleming Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.

The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Gandy family.
