Celia Ann "C. Ann" Britton of Cuba, Missouri was born August 29, 1936 to the union of Walt and Mildred Mayberry Lee and left from this life on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Gibbs Care Center, Steelville, Missouri at the age of 79 years. C. Ann was united in marriage to John E. Britton on November 2, 1953 at Steelville, Missouri and to this union five children were born Sandra kay, Janice Renee, Lonnie James, Diane Lynn and Johnny Edward. C. Ann worked at the Cuba Shoe Factory in her younger years. What she spent the majority of her life doing was taking care of her children and the home. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, reading Good House Keeping magazines and watching QVC and the Cooking Show. She spent hours and hours going to yard sales looking for items she could add to her collections. She collected most everything but especially Angels. What she enjoyed most in life was spending time with her family. C. Ann was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents Walt and Mildred Lee, husband John E. Britton, one son Johnny Edward Britton, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving children; Sandra Kay and husband Donald Conaway of Cuba, Janice Renee Britton of Cuba, Lonnie James and wife Sylvia Britton of North Pole, Alaska and Diane Lynn and husband Neil Kuhne of Owensville, seven grandchildren; Lacy, Shelley, Amber, Jonathan, Christopher, Shannon and Taylor, eleven great grandchildren; Emily, Caiden, Haley, Carlee, Brooklynn, Carmella, Kolton, Kaine, Chase, Aubrey and Apollo, one brother Sonny and wife Peggy Lee of Odessa, Missouri, one sister-in-law Edwina Britton of Cuba, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba. Interment and prayers will follow at Skaggs Cemetery, Huzzah, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Britton family.
