Catherine J. "Cathy" Harris

Catherine J. “Cathy” Harris, of the Cuba community and formerly of St. Louis, was born on November 24, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Albert and Ruby (Gregory) Corder. She peacefully departed this life at her home on July 1, 2025, at the age of 67.

Cathy dedicated many years of her life to her career as a retiree of Schnucks Market in St. Louis and was an active member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 655. A passionate St. Louis Cardinals fan, Cathy cherished the moments spent at the Meramec Marina and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends at Joe Clark’s in Fenton. She found joy in spoiling her dog, Lucy, who was a cherished companion.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ruby (Gregory) Corder, as well as her longtime friend and companion, Phil Pickett.

Her memory will be lovingly honored by her two children, Jerry (Monica) Harris and Jessica Keogh (Brandon Lesesne), both of Cuba; her nine grandchildren, Shane Black, Shannon Black, Ryan Richards, Addison Keogh, Tessa, Paxton, Holden, Kane, and Knox Lesesne; her brother, Dan (Donna) Corder; her sister, Viva Mae Morgan of DeSoto; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

In accordance with her wishes, Cathy will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at her favorite venue, Joe Clark’s Restaurant, 42 Gravois Rd. in Fenton, Missouri, at a later date to be announced.
