It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Breslich, who left this world on June 25, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on December 29, 1938, in Cuba, Missouri, to Ralph J. and Alice (Sturges) Henry, Carol led a life filled with love, devotion, and warmth.
On February 8, 1958, she was united in marriage to Lowell Breslich at Holy Cross Catholic Church, embracing a partnership that would flourish over the decades. Together, they welcomed seven beautiful children: Dianna May, Kimberly Elaine, Douglas James, Kelly Lorraine, Jonathan Issac, Jason Lewis, and one precious infant who remain in their hearts.
Carol's journey included a time spent overseas with Lowell while he served in the military. In 1968, they returned to their beloved Cuba, where Carol dedicated herself to her career at Wal-Mart in Sullivan, retiring after 26 years of loyal service. Her kindness radiated through every interaction, always greeting friends and strangers alike with a cheerful hello and an attentive ear.
Among her many passions, Carol enjoyed crafting, reading, connecting with family and friends, as well as quiet times watching her favorite shows. She will be deeply missed not only by her family but by all whose lives she touched with her infectious spirit and genuine compassion.
She is predeceased by her devoted husband, Lowell, as well as her children, her infant son Jason Lewis Breslich, Dianna May Armstrong and one infant, beloved siblings: Valear Malnassy, Elizabeth Warner, Dorothy Felden, Ramona Tufts, Myra Henry, Ralph J. Henry, Jr., and Howard A. Henry.
Carol leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories through her surviving children: Kimberly Elaine Breslich of Rolla, Douglas James Breslich of St. Clair, Kelly Lorraine (Joe) Cason of Cuba, and Jonathan Issac Breslich (Patricia Zulpo) of Cuba. She also adored her grandchildren: Shad Arron, Heather Marie, Lesa Ann, Jonathan Douglas (Jordan) Cason, Chelsea Elizabeth (Matt) Noe, Jason Douglas, Jessica Elizabeth (Brian) Cunio, Mariah Danielle (Kenny) Robbins and Emmalee Ann Breslich (Joe Enloe), along with her precious 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a vast circle of friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
A private visitation and funeral service were held on July 28, 2025, at Mizell Funeral Home, with Joe Cason officiating. She now rests peacefully at Meramec Hills Memorial Gardens in Cuba.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to the Make A Wish Foundation, honoring Carol’s spirit of generosity and love. Donations can be made online at www.wish.org or sent to 1702 E. Highland Ave. Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
