Carol Ann Wintjen

Carol Ann Wintjen of Cuba was born on October 1, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 47. Carol worked several years as a Certified Medical Technician, before becoming disabled. She enjoyed always taking care of others and spoiling her grandchildren. Carol is preceded by one daughter Ashley Logan; two brothers Lloyd and Charles Wintjen. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her fiancé Richard Hooper; six children Christopher Wintjen, Crystal, William, Joe and Ashley Williams, Crystal Haney; three grandchildren Arionna and Angel Smith, Bentley Williams; mother-in-law Rose Hooper all of Cuba, Missouri; four brothers and two sisters James, Larry, Roger, Christian, Retha and Janet. nieces, nephews and many friends. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 1-2 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Father William Korte, officiating. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Wintjen family.
