Carl Thomas 'Tom' Starr

Carl Thomas "Tom" Starr of High Ridge formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born December 22, 1937 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Carl C. and Sophie (Nee: Turek) Starr and left from this life on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at SSM St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 76 years. Tom was united in marriage to Sue Ann Skeel on December 2, 1961 at St. Louis, Missouri and to this union three children were born Thomas, Victoria and Kristine. Tom proudly served in the United States Air Force. He then worked as a warehouse manager for many years before retiring and moving to Indian Hills Lake. Tom was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law and friend of many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Tom is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Sophie Starr, wife Sue Ann Starr and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his three children; Thomas and wife Michelle Starr, Victoria and husband Chris Dieterman and Kristine and husband Ken Louks, seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. In keeping with Tom's wishes he was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Starr family.
