Brian Charles Jeffries, 54, passed away on July 13, 2026. Born on May 23, 1972, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Dave Jeffries and Jo (Wattler) Campbell, Brian built a life defined by hard work, generosity, a sharp wit, and a genuine love for family, friends, and the outdoors.

Brian was a skilled tradesman who took great pride in his work. If he didn't already know how to do something, he never let that stop him. He would research it, watch YouTube videos, ask questions, and keep learning until he figured it out. His determination, ingenuity, and willingness to tackle any project made him someone family and friends could always count on.

Brian will be remembered as a hardworking man with a heart that was always willing to help others. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome. Whenever someone needed a helping hand, a laugh, or simply someone to talk to, Brian was there without hesitation. During his high school years, Brian enjoyed playing soccer and wrestling, and his love of the outdoors and active life continued throughout the years. Later in life, he found his greatest happiness outdoors—whether he was fishing, hunting, spending time at the river, or tinkering on just about anything he could get his hands on. He also enjoyed watching St. Louis Blues hockey and UFC fights. Brian shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Marla, whose ornery personality brought him great joy.

Brian's faith became an important part of his life. He came to know Jesus at Straightway Baptist Church in Steelville, Missouri, and later was baptized in the river alongside his brother in Christ, Mark. That experience was a meaningful expression of his faith and remains a cherished memory for those who shared it with him.

Brian was a loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend. He is survived by his daughter, Erika Lewis and her husband, Bink; his grandson, Marshall; his parents, Jo (Wattler) Campbell and Dave Jeffries and his wife, Linda; his brother, Bill Jeffries and his wife, Sonia; his sister, Danielle Campbell; his brother, Frank Campbell; his devoted companion, Pam Helton; her family, including Kristen Merritt and her husband, Gaige, their sons, Jackson and Lucas, and Mitchell Helton; and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends, all of whom he cared for dearly.

Brian's legacy is one of hard work, generosity, laughter, thoughtfulness, and quiet acts of kindness. Though his life ended far too soon, his family asks that he be remembered not for the way his life ended, but for the way he lived. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the projects he built, the lives he touched, and the love he leaves behind.

A visitation for Brian will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 P.M. also on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will take place at Meramec Hills Memorial Lawn.
