Brandy Lynn Mcmillen

Brandy Lynn McMillen of St. James, Missouri was born Monday, November 2, 1970 at Grand Prairie, Texas to the union of Robert and Nancy (Nee: Berry) Kent. She left from this life on Sunday, March 24, 2019 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 48 years. Brandy spent her life being a free spirit. She loved to sing, dance and she was a very caring and compassionate person. Helping others is what she did her entire life and she was always there for her friends. Brandy was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, wife, mother, aunt, great aunt, niece, sister-in-law and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her grandma Lulleen Berry, nephew Jordan Kent and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving parents Robert "Bob" and Nancy Kent of St. James, two sons Chadwick A. McMillen of Greenville, Illinois and Andrew McMillen of St. James, husband Mark E. McMillen of Buna, Texas, one brother Rob and wife Jeannie Kent of Salem, one sister Natalie Smeltser of Kansas City, Missouri, grandmother Norma Jean Pohl of St. James, nephews; Bradley Kent of Branson, Michael, Christopher and Matthew Smeltser of Alexandria, Missouri, great nephew Kaleb Kent, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Special recorded music will be "Crying" and "Far Behind". In keeping with Brandy's wishes, she was cremated. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Brandy's family.
