Bobby Dean Parker of Bourbon, Missouri was born May 17, 1943 at Granite City, Illinois to the union of Alfred T. and Vivian L. (nee: Srouce) Parker and left from this life on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Bourbon, Missouri at the age of 70 years. Bobby was united in marriage to Wilma Darlene Auer on June 27, 1959 in Caseyville, Illinois and to this union three children were born Dana, Traci and Bobby. Bobby was a self-employed appliance repairman for over thirty 30 years. Every spring he would plant a very large vegetable garden and share with everyone. His tomatoes were the grandchildren's favorite. In his spare time he enjoyed coon hunting. What he always loved the most was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bobby was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Vivian Parker, his wife Wilma Parker, one daughter Traci Hormberg, three brothers Marvin, Charles "Chuck" and Donald Parker, one sister Lavern Montgomery and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his daughter Dana and husband Ronnie Huggins of Bourbon, son Bobby "Rob" D. and wife Karla Parker of Popular Bluff, Missouri, nine grandchildren Michelle Hormberg, Ashley and husband Jared Bloomner, Amanda Parker, Shain White, Shannon and husband Tim Erxleben, Aliesha and husband Lacy Gipson, Harold Parker, Nicole Bogue and Amanda Leathers, great grandchildren Davion, Kaylynn, Lily, Odin, Caleb, Malachi, Micayla, Chloie, Naomi, Christian, CaLae, Cole, Cameron, Haiden, Wyatt, Weston, Preston and one on the way, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Philip White officiating. Special music will be ""Redeemed", The Only Name" and "I Can Only Imagine". Interment and prayers will follow at the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Parker family.
