Bobbie Rae Lee

Bobbie Rae Lee, of Cuba, Missouri, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in her home. She was born on January 18, 1936, in Springhill, Louisiana, to loving parents Barney and Tessie Mae (Price) Allen.

Bobbie dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm and inviting home. She found joy in cooking, singing and playing the guitar alongside her sisters. Her nurturing spirit and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents Barney and Tessie Mae (Price) Allen; as well as three sisters Louise Teague, Ruby Thompson, and Lorene Dawson.

Left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy are her five children: Don and wife Sereta Lee of Rogers, Arkansas; Sharon Grubbs and partner Bobby Robinson of Inman, South Carolina; Dennis Lee and partner Judy Hughes of Lafayette, Georgia; Kenneth Lee and partner Anita Williams of Cuba and Connie Lee of Cuba, Missouri. Additionally, she leaves behind one sister Bonnie and husband Jackie Martin of Plain Dealing, Louisiana; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and many friends.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home.

Funeral Service honoring Bobbie's life will also be held on Saturday January 27th at Mizell Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. 

Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
