Bobbie A. Campbell of Cuba, Missouri was born February 12, 1945 at Charleston, West Virginia to the union of Vernon and Violet (Nee: Perry) Campbell and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at his home in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 69 years. Bobbie was an owner/operator over the road truck driver of forty five years. The last thirteen years that he drove before retiring him and his wife Barb drove together. Bobbie was united in marriage to Barbara Blackwell on February 23, 1991 in South Carolina. Bobbie was a fan of old cars and trucks. He spent hours working on his semi to keep it running and looking good. He was an excellent mechanic and everyone always wanted him to work on their vehicles. Bobbie loved animals especially his beagles. Bobbie was the oldest child of fourteen and spent most of his teenage years helping to raise his younger siblings. Bobbie was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, great uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to everyone he ever met. Bobbie is preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Violet, two sons Bobbie A. Campbell, Jr. and Eric Blackwell, two brothers Larry and Gary Campbell, mother-in-law Marie Blackwell and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Barbara Campbell of the home, two daughters Sonya and Cindy, grandchildren, eleven siblings, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 415 W School Street, Cuba, Missouri with Father Rich Boever as celebrant. (Please meet directly at Church) Interment and prayers will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Campbell family.
