Betty Jane Bourne

Betty Jane Bourne of Cuba, Missouri was born on February 22, 1933 in Rector, Arkansas to the union of Ruby and Pauline (Warbritton) Glasgow and she left from on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Cuba Manor at the age of 83. Betty was a homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her home, playing games on her computer and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Betty was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; one son Jerry A. Bourne; one grandson Jerry A. Bourne, Jr.; one brother Bill Glasgow; one brother-in-law James Bourne; one sister-in-law Barbara Bourne and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband Lawrence Bourne of Cuba, Missouri; three sons Gary and wife Leota Bourne of Wentzville, Missouri, Kelly and wife Leslie Bourne of Cuba, Missouri, Larry Bourne of Cuba, Missouri; six grandchildren John Bourne, Sarah and George Bourne, Cristina Kegley, Jamie Bourne and Jennifer Rattliff; four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 2:00 PM at Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W. Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri. Interment and prayers will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Bourne family.
