Barbara Ann (Cunningham) Barrick, 64, of Cuba, Missouri, passed away, Saturday, August 8, 2026, at her home in the comforting presence of her devoted husband.

On May 18, 1962, Barbara was born to the union of Jerry Cunningham & Mary (Sparks) in Dallas, Texas.

She was united in marriage to Danny Barrick on February 11, 1979.

Barbara was a hardworking & dedicated woman. She worked for over 30 years a regional manager for Hardee's, managing the stores in Owensville, Cuba and other stores in the area.

She was a talented cook; there wasn't a dish that she couldn't make. Her favorites were anything that involved pasta. Barbara took pride in her appearance and always had her hair done up real big, her make-up was just right and jewelry to match. She always loved going shopping with her mom, which gave her an excuse to get dressed up. Barbara was a people person and had the ability to carry on a conversation with anyone. She truly cared about others, sending cards and checking on folks from time to time. Barbara looked forward to the times spent with her beloved husband, going out to eat and admiring the beautiful flowers he would plant for her and their home. She didn't prefer the outdoors, but she was always a good sport when it came to supporting her children and husband at different sporting events. She was long time member of the Deer Creek Church as well as an active volunteer when she was able to. Most of all, Barbara loved her family and friends deeply and she will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry & Mary Cunningham; two sons, Corey Barrick & Travis Barrick; grandparents, Marvin (Betty) Sparks & Levi (Earline) Cunningham.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Danny Barrick of Cuba; daughter, Chivonne Dickerson of Florida; grandsons, Landon Dickerson of Florida, Kaden (Kaleigh) Dickerson of Massachusetts & Corey Barrick Jr. of Cuba; siblings, Greg (Kathy) Cunningham of Bland, Andy (Charlotte) Cunningham of Owensville & Sarah (John) Luechtefeld of Leslie; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Deer Creek Church of Cuba, Missouri from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon also at Deer Creek Church, Cuba, Missouri. Barbara will be cremated following the services.
