Astryd Rose Smith, of Cherryville, Missouri, left our lives too soon at the tender age of 1 on Friday, August 3, 2026. She was a ray of sunshine and a blessing to all who knew and loved her. She entered this life on April 22, 2025, in Washington, Missouri. 

Astryd was an absolute bundle of joy to her mom and grandparents. She was their little princess of life and the princess of the family. Astryd could make everyone smile and instantly lit up a room with her vibrant energy. Though her life here was short, her memory will leave a lasting impression for the rest our lives until we are reunited. 

She is survived by her loving mother, Jasmine Smtih of Cherryville; brother, Rogan Michael Smith of Cherryville; grandmother, Sarah Smith of Steelville; great-grandparents, Steve (Kerin) Smith of Sullivan; two uncles, Tristin Sexton of Union and David Sexton of Union; other relatives and friends of the family. 

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory, Cuba. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 P.M.
