Anna Marie Fleming

Anna Marie Fleming (nee Bourbon) of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Monday, August 28, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri. She left from this life on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in her home at the age of 52 years.

Ann was a home health care worker, before becoming recently disabled. She loved to photograph birds, flowers and anything else that was outdoors. Ann spent a lot of time researching her family genealogy and she enjoyed studying the history of cities in Missouri.

Ann married Tom Fleming on August 30, 2014. She and Tom could be found eating out at many of the local restaurants and visiting with friends. Spending time with family and friends was what Ann truly treasured and picking blackberries!

She was a loving daughter, wife, niece, cousin, sister and friend of many. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ann is preceded in death by her mother Marlene (Burkemper) Bourbon; godparents Orville and Mary Carolyn Burkemper and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her father, Joseph Eugene Bourbon and special friend Betty Blankenship of Bourbon, Missouri; aunts, uncles and cousins namely Sharon and husband Ned Flottman, Ken and wife Robbie Burkemper, Bryan and wife Cindy Burkemper, Vince and wife Marianne Burkemper, Carol and husband Dan Snow, Mike and wife Jill Burkemper, and Katie and husband Mark Calandro; two brothers Anthony and Michael; one sister Nancy and many other family and friends.

Visitation was held Friday, September 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 415 W. School St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Mass was held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Dan Lueckenotte and Father Andrew Burkemper as the co-celebrants.

Interment prayers followed at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba Missouri.

In Lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
