Anna E. (Elliston) Gregory

December 21, 1941 — August 19, 2021

Anna Elizabeth Gregory of Cuba, Missouri was born on Sunday, December 21, 1941 in Cuba, Missouri to the union of James F. and Ora E. (Reeves) Elliston. She left from this life peacefully on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at her home at the age of 79 years.

Anna was united in marriage to Elmer “Buck” Gregory, Sr. on July 12, 1958. To this union four children were born Mary, Elmer Jr., Loretta and Dawn.

Anna worked many years at the Cuba Shoe Factory and Crawford County R-2 School District. She was a devoted member of Cornerstone Church in Cuba. She enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, crafts, drawing and writing. Her love for her family and being Nanny to other children, will remain her legacy.

Anna was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, nanny, aunt, great aunt and friend of everyone. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents James F. and Ora E. (Reeves) Elliston; brothers Robert “Bobby” Elliston, Roy “Pete” Elliston and infant brother Johnny Elliston.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband of sixty-three years Elmer “Buck” Gregory, Sr. of Cuba; four children Mary and husband Pat Muenks of Linn, Loretta and husband Andy Arthur of Rolla, Dawn and husband William Cremer of Licking, Elmer and wife Kristi Gregory, Jr. of St. James; one daughter in law Peggy Gregory of Rolla; three sisters Martha Martin and Mary Martin of Steelville, Clara Killion of Indiana; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Stephens and Pastor Terry Mahurin, officiating. Special memories will be shared by family members.

Interment and prayers will follow at Delhi Cemetery, Cuba.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.

The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Gregory.
