William Joseph 'Joe' Anderson

November 19, 1945 — April 15, 2014

William Joseph "Joe" Anderson of Eureka, Missouri formerly of Cuba was born November 19, 1945 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Jacob and Mary Lee (Nee: Morton) Anderson and left from this life on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Eureka, Missouri at the age of 68 years. Joe was a factory worker most all of his life. He loved being dad, was everyone's favorite uncle and he treasured spending time with all of his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Joe was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, great uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Joe is preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Mary Lee Anderson, three brothers Sam, Steve and infant Ronald Anderson and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his loving children Kelsi and Kevin Anderson of Cuba, five sisters Linda and husband Tony Ojile of St. Louis, Sandy Anderson of St. Louis, Mary Ann Anderson of St. Louis, Gail and husband Dan Wollberg of Eureka and Rhonda Jo Anderson of St. Louis, three brothers Tom and wife Marjorie Anderson of St. Louis County, Gary and wife Kathy Anderson of St. Louis County and Bradley and wife Judy Anderson of St. Louis County, like a brother Fred Warren of Houston, Texas and Jerry Turnbough of Steelville, aunt Shirley Morton of Salem, Missouri, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba. Special music will be "It's a Wonderful World", "Tears In Heaven", When I Get Where I'm Going" and "I'll Fly Away". Interment and prayers will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Salem, Missouri with Pastor Larry Nash officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Joe's memory. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Anderson family.
