Pauline C. Brown of Ellisville, Missouri was born to the union of James and Maud (Powell) Cash on October 2, 1919 at Paragould, Arkansas and left from this life Saturday, January 16, 2010 in Creve Coeur, Missouri at the age of 90. Pauline was united in marriage to Everett L. Brown on February 28, 1942 in Old Monroe, Missouri and to this union four children were born Barbara, Allen, Roger and Ken. Pauline was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Wildwood, Missouri. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, quilting and gardening. The most important thing to her, was taking care of her family and friends. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents James Cash and Maud (Powell) Cash; two brothers Bill and Robert Cash and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to cherish her memory and to continue her legacy, are her husband Everett L. Brown; four children Barbara é¢ééJerryé¢éé and husband John Held of Potosi, Missouri, Allen Brown of Ellisville, Missouri, Roger Brown of St. Louis, Missouri and Ken and wife Mary Brown of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister Jewel é¢ééJudyé¢éé and husband Warren Rider of Richmond, Indiana; sister-in-laws Helen Brown of Cuba, Missouri, Velva McPherson, Mamie and her husband Phil McCann and Gladys Smart all of St. Charles, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. A special note of thanks to Dawn Held, the eldest grandchild, who as an RN, worked faithfully and lovingly with her Grandmother to give her the special care she needed, while continuing to do the same with her Grandfather. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 10:00 a.m. until time of service 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 955 Hwy. 109 Wildwood, Missouri with Pastor Douglas Balzer, officiating. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. at Lick Creek Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Brown family.
