Linda Shore of Cuba, Missouri was born October 11, 1959 at Rolla, Missouri to the union of Earl W. and Betty Louise (Nee: Forester) Warnhoff, Sr. and left from this life on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 54 years. Linda was united in marriage to Andrew Shore on September 28, 1985 at the Bem United Church of Christ in Bem, Missouri and to this union two children were born Andrew "Bud" and Carah. Linda was a beautician for thirty plus years and during the early 1990's worked as an accountant for Wallis Oil. Linda enjoyed crocheting and she made several baby blankets for her grandson Hunter. She enjoyed drinking coffee, coke and cherry slushes and if she went out to eat she always wanted a steak. Linda loved the sunshine and being outside. They went on vacation to the beach or the desert because there was sunshine and it was warm there. She would spend hours sitting outside, listening to music and crocheting. Linda loved to take her grandson Hunter to town and show him off. She would take him to Hayes Shoe store and buy him new shoes. Linda also loved her dog Leah and she treated her just like family. Linda was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and friend to many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Earl W. and Betty Louise Warnhoff, Sr., one brother Earl Warnhoff, Jr., father-in-law Charles Shore, sister-in-law Jana Smith and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her loving husband Andrew Shore of the home, son Andrew "Bud" Shore, Jr. of Cuba, daughter Carah and husband Jonathan Hicks of Walnut Grove, Missouri, "like a daughter" Shelby Schaning of Rolla, the most perfect grandson Hunter Wes Hicks of Walnut Groves, Missouri, sister Debra and husband John Brown of Cuba, brother Michael Warnhoff of Cuba, mother-in-law Laura Shore of Owensville, sisters-in-law Julie and husband Gary Baker of Zeeland, Michigan and Martha and husband Mike Record of Owensville, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousin and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 4:00 till 7:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba. In keeping with Linda's wishes she will be cremated following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Shore family.
