Glenn Robert Roth of Indian Hills Lake Cuba, Missouri was born July 11, 1923 in Hume, Illinois to Chester and Georgia Ann Roth and passed away Friday, September 2, 2011 in Cedar Hill, Missouri. Glenn served in the army in WWII in North Africa and Italy. He worked for many years as a manager for Brown Shoe Company in Illinois. He also worked as a bus driver, real estate agent, funeral director, baker, and delivery driver. Glenn was active for many years with the Cuba Senior Center. Glenn married Ruth Mary Gruen in Hume, Illinois on May 29, 1949. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Mary and Helen; and three brothers, Dal, George, and Harry. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Celena(Daniel) Hyde of Cedar Hill, Missouri and Glenda(Gary) Gauss of Crestwood, Missouri; two grandchildren, Joy Byrd nee Hyde of St. Louis, Missouri and Alex Hyde of St. Louis, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Simon Byrd, Devon Byrd, Mason Byrd, and Kyle Hyde all of St. Louis, Missouri. Memorial Service will be held on September 11, 2011 12:30 p.m. at Amazing Grace Community Church of Cuba with Pastor Gary Mace, officiating A second memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the Faith United Methodist Church, House Spring, Missouri. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2011.
