Dawn K. Schuman

Dawn K. Schuman of Rolla, Missouri was born on Sunday, December 4, 1977 in St. Louis, Missouri. She left from this life suddenly on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Phelps Health in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 43 years.

Dawn had a natural beauty and a beautiful soul that she inherited from her mother and has passed on to her daughters. A daughter is one of the life's most beautiful gifts and Dawn was blessed with two! She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her daughters Danielle and Carly and embraced every moment with them. Their smiles made her smile, and their laughter was contagious! Their hearts held a special love for mom, and they were loved in return. Danielle and Carly were her life. She would forever want them to know how truly, deeply they are loved.

Life is a priceless gift and Dawn's family made a decision that will forever change many lives. By being an organ donor, she has gifted life to others that they may continue to live and celebrate life's moments. In doing so, many prayers will find their answer and Dawn will never be forgotten.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two daughters Danielle Schuman and Carly Dietz of Rolla, Missouri; parents Sofia and Danny Penrod of Cuba, Missouri; companion Jack Dietz of Rolla, Missouri; aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and many friends.


Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 1-4 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2021 4:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Martin, officiating.

Dawn will be cremated, following the visitation and funeral service.
