Darlene Harris

Darlene Harris of Cuba, Missouri was born October 5, 1944 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Clifford and Dorothy Bertha (nee: Schmidt) Trinkler and left from this life on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Cuba Manor at the age of 70 years. Darlene was raised in the Keysville, Cherryville and Steelville area. She graduated from the Cherryville High School. Darlene was united in marriage to Dwight Harris on April 12, 1963 and to this union three children were born; Darlene Sue, Tina and Jeffrey Harris. Darlene spent her life taking care of her home and family. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, working on family genealogy and collecting stamps. Darlene was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Bertha Hutson, one brother Charles "Sonny" Trinkler and one grandson Jeffery D. Harris, II. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her loving children Jeffery D. and wife Bonnie Harris, Sue Schoen and Tina and husband Harry Evans all of Cuba, three brothers Gene and wife Carolyn Trinkler of Kansas, George Trinkler and friend Barbara Speight of Virginia Beach, Virginia and John Trinkler of Bowling Green, Missouri, two sisters Betty Jean Meyer of Vero Beach, Florida and Patricia Harris of Sullivan, Missouri, one brother-in-law Harvey Hutson of Cuba, seven grandchildren; Wendy Langdon, Mindy Stovall, Kenneth Harris, Sam Evans, Richard Harris, Sara Evans and Dwight Harris, six great grandchildren Alison Langdon, Paige Langdon, Haylee Stovall, Zoey Stovall, Braylon Stovall and Noah Harris, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba with Pastor Larry Martin officiating. Special music will be "I'll Live in Glory" and "Never Alone". Interment and prayers will follow at the Martin Trask Cemetery, Cherryville, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Harris family. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Harris family.
