Bill Harrison

Bill Harrison of St. James, formerly of Cuba was born May 15, 1924 at Joiner, Arkansas and left from this life on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at St. James, Missouri at the age of 88 years. Bill retired in the 1970's after many years of being a Farm Labor Contractor where he was in charge of fifteen hundred employees working six months a year in Michigan and six months a year in Florida picking produce. After retiring Bill moved to New Mexico, where he lived for many years, before moving to Missouri to be closer to his family. In his spare he enjoyed rabbit and coon hunting. Bill was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, great uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Jane Harrison, sons Allan Harrison and Billy Ray Harrison, daughter Margaret Highfill, daughter-in-law Marsha Harrison, brother Son Harrison, sister Casey Harrison and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving children John Harrison of Bourbon, Mary Harrison of St. James, Jimmy and wife Josie Harrison of Cuba, Joe and wife Bobby Harrison of Saginaw, Michigan, Shirley and husband Casper Werdenhausen of Bland and William "Bill" and wife Chiquita Harrison of Rolla, many grandchildren, many great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. In keeping with Bill's wishes he was cremated and no services will be held. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Harrison family.
