Anna Lucille 'Ann' Moore Shockley

May 27, 1915 — August 1, 2012

Anna "Ann" Lucille Moore Shockley of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Perley F. and Olive L. (Randall) Randolph on May 27, 1915 in St. Joseph, Missouri and left from this life on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Cuba Manor at the age of 97. Ann was united in marriage to Clarence C. Moore on November 24, 1936 and after his death she married Bill Shockley on July 27, 1974. Ann was the owner/operator of the Donut Hole in Cuba for several years. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Cuba. She enjoyed cooking, baking and word search puzzles. Ann is preceded in death by her parents Perley F. and Olive L. (Randall) Randolph; two husbands Clarence C. Moore and Bill Shockley; infant son Robert W. Moore; two brothers Mendell F. and Donald F. Randolph; three sisters Violet Blankenship, Thelma L. Hildebrandt and Betty Warnick; one grandson Keith Meyer. Those who left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her daughter Nancy and husband Ray Meyer of Cuba, Missouri; three step-children Jim and wife Betsy Shockley of Cuba, Missouri, Rose Jane Pasch of Cuba, Missouri, Ruth and husband John McQuade of St. Louis, Missouri; four grandchildren Robyn and husband Duane Beavers of Oak Harbor, Washington, Patricia Harris, James Meyer, Michael and wife (Bobbi Jo) Meyer all of Cuba, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, thirteen step-great-grandchildren, three step-great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Knight, officiating. Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Ann's family.
